I had a great experience dealing with Alan and Lee throughout the purchase process. They were professional, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions I had. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I genuinely couldn't fault the service they provided. Unfortunately, after carrying out surveys on the property on Thirlmere SK11, significant issues were discovered, including asbestos and failing roof. While this was obviously disappointing, it was no reflection on Alan and Lee, who were helpful and professional throughout the process.

Bought and sold through them , well informed throughout the process - can't fault anything at all, would recommend.

Of all the estate agents I used, they were by far the best - Cherrie was very helpful when looking around homes, as well as informative, and also allowed me time to myself to look around which no other estate agent did. As estate agents go, in our case Alan Lee and staff were exceptional.After being on the market for 3 months with another well known high street agent, our property didn't sell and we received very little help. We decided to change agents and we chose Alan Lee, what a difference it made, they sold our property within 2 weeks, handled all the viewings. Kept us advised and up to date with the whole process. Alan, Lee, Abbey and Cherrie have been nothing short of exceptional throughout our house sale. Having secured us full asking price within just over a week, we assumed it would be a very swift process but, unfortunately, it soon transpired that we had a less than stable chain, with the bottom of the chain causing a lot of problems. It was a very stressful 7 months for us, but the team at Alan Lee couldn’t have done more to get us to completion. The whole chain owes Alan Lee their gratitude, as they were literally the only agents in the chain who were proactive. Lee and Abbey had a hard time dealing with the other agents, where communication was not forthcoming up the chain, but their tenaciousness, professionalism and desire to act in our very best interest got us to completion. I have no hesitation in saying that if we had chosen a different agent, we’d either still be waiting on the sale, or the chain would have collapsed! Initially, we put our house sale in the hands of a large, national chain of estate agents. Over a year, they introduced several unsuitable buyers with sales falling through at the last minute. So we ditched them and signed instead with Alan Lee, an independent, local estate agent, recommended to us by a friend who sold through them. I only wish that we hadn't listened to the blandishments of the big guns, who promised so much and delivered so little. We should have gone with Alan Lee from the start.
